One of the most important benefits of membership in the Junior League is lifelong connections to community-minded women. The Junior League of Gainesville is incredibly grateful for the more than 250 Sustaining Members who give their time, financial support, and leadership skills to improve both our League and our community.

The Junior League of Gainesville welcomes all League Members who, after a minimum of seven years of Active Junior League service, opt to leave Active membership and begin sustaining the League. We also enthusiastically welcome Sustainers transferring from other Leagues.

Sustainers share their Junior League training and expertise with other community organizations, and within the League, as Sustainer Member-at-Large on the Board of Directors and as Sustainer co-vice presidents on the management team. They also have fun, connecting with fellow Sustainers at events like seasonal luncheons and holiday parties!

As our largest membership class, Sustainers are a huge source of support for the League. They provide a connection to our past while their financial support keeps us moving into the future.

JLG Sustainers who have questions may contact the Sustainer Member-at-Large at
