On Saturday, December 3, 2011, the Junior League of Gainesville provides bikes, toys, games and books to over 350 needy families for the holidays.

Fundraisers

Back by popular demand! The Junior League of Gainesville’s Tour of Kitchens

Please join us to celebrate the return of the Tour of Kitchens on Saturday, March 10th 2012 (rain or shine)!  As the Junior League of Gainesville’s largest fundraising event, the Tour of Kitchens features a peek into eight of the most beautiful and interesting homes, kitchens and gardens of our area.  The Tour includes special events such as chef and mixologist demonstrations with gourmet food samplings from Alachua County’s best restaurants and caterers.  Also included are several wine and specialty coffee and tea tastings, home beer brewing, and a long list of expertly led special interest demonstrations, even dermatological wellness screenings and a fashion show!

Thrift Shop

First opened in 1935, the thrift shop continues to be a primary source of funding for the Junior League of Gainesville.  Donations by JLG members and the community at large provide the apparel, toys and household goods that are sold at the thrift shop.
